SITUATION

A U.S. automotive manufacturer needed a machine to weld and laser mark automotive seat components using two Yaskawa robots.


SOLUTION

Product Loading/Offload- Safety light curtains and LED indicators guide the operator through loading and unloading.
Laser Marking- Laser marks a QR code onto each part.
Welding- Two Yaskawa robots weld the two components together in the machine fixture.
3D Vision- A 3D vision system inspects the welded part for quality.

  • HMI with icon-based controls, manual override mode, and live cycle time display
