The customer needed a hybrid cap assembly and lining machine (cap 6-7 hybrid) that assembles, lines, and stacks caps at 80 parts per minute, with vision systems checking cap assembly and liner presence.

SOLUTION

Big Sky Engineering built a dual-Fanuc-robot cell that feeds caps from a manual infeed conveyor, assembles and lines them, checks each part with vision-based inspection, and stacks completed caps for manual offload. The machine mounts on caster wheels for easy repositioning on the shop floor.
