The customer needed a tote shaking machine to stage, shake, and position totes autonomously, handling parts of varying weights while shielding operators and bystanders from all hazards.

SOLUTION

Gaylord Infeed- Stages the incoming gaylord until the current cycle finishes, with safety light curtains protecting the operator from in-machine hazards.
Tote Shaking- Grips the tote and pivots it in a back-and-forth motion.
Operator Control- LED pushbuttons let the operator start the machine from the side opposite the HMI, which also allows quick recipe and parameter changes.
Shaker Completion- An out-feed staging area holds the gaylord, with safety light curtains protecting the operator from in-machine hazards.
