SITUATION
The customer needed an inclined cleated conveyor to handle 3,000+ boxes per hour, feeding a baler with both normal and bypass run modes.
SOLUTION
Normal Mode- Accepts boxes from a horizontal belted conveyor and elevates them on cleats, with side walls to keep stacked boxes from falling and roughly 24″ of width for bulk flow.
Bypass Mode- If the baler stops accepting boxes, the conveyor pivots down and reverses direction, sending boxes into the gap between the baler and the wall instead.
