This fixture was designed to allow ease of manual loading of the tanks. The operator manually loads the “capped” tank into a fitted fixture that locates the tank based on its geometry. The operator initiates the test cycle by engaging the two anti-tie touch sensors. The test sequence follows pre-set parameters and consists of maximum test pressure, minimum test pressure, and test duration. Parts that pass the leak test are automatically impact-stamped and released. Fail parts are held until the operator acknowledges the failure through a reset button. The expected operating test pressure is 20-40 psi for 8 seconds, with pressure sensitivity detection of less than 10 psi.
